Blink 182 Live in Orlando with Lots of Setlist Surprises

June 20th in Orlando, FL was a monumental evening for the legions of Blink 182 fans with the kick off to the summer tour with a powerhouse performance full of surprises. Tom, Travis, and Mark unfurled an ambitious 26-song setlist that not only covered their hits but also surprised the crowd with rare gems and even a brand new song  Plus, Blink revealed a new 360 degree stage setup playing in the round along with lots of pyro!

This summer tour, with support from the dynamic Pierce the Veil, is slated to crisscross North America, drawing to a close on August 15. It’s one of the standout mega-tours touring the North American summer concert circuit. The live show was held at the impressive Kia Center in Orlando, Florida—a venue renowned for its fantastic acoustics and expansive seating, which enhances the concert experience. The energy in the air was palpable with some fans donning vintage Blink 182 tees dating back to the 90s and others in newly purchased merch (after waiting in a LONG line).

The evening was filled with highlights, notably the performances of “M+M’s” from their debut album “Cheshire Cat,” and “Obvious” from the critically acclaimed self-titled album. After Mark said, “This is a song we haven’t played a long time” before busting into M+M’s, it had the crowd in a frenzy. It had been years since these songs were last performed—2016 and 2018, respectively—making their new setlist a must-see show this summer.

The set also ventured into uncharted territory with Blink-182 covering tracks from their other side bands, a first in their live shows, and had the crowd in complete shock. The band played segments from +44’s “When Your Heart Stops Beating” and Box Car Racer’s “There Is,” offering a rare crossover that delighted old school fans of the band’s other musical endeavors when they went on hiatus from Blink. Another big moment was the debut of “Can’t Go Back,” a previously unreleased song that hints at new creative directions for the group. Tom said, “No one knows were are playing this brand new song live for the first time. Not even our management, tour manager, or record label.”

Amid the classic hits and unexpected covers, the interaction between the band and the audience was a highlight in itself. As usual, Tom and Mark shared stories and dirty jokes between songs, reconnecting with their fans not just through music but with words, creating an intimate atmosphere despite the huge sold out venue. For those who missed the live magic, the entire setlist can be found through YouTube videos, capturing the magic and what promises to be a memorable tour. View the full setlist below…
