Sublime with Rome are back on the road in support of their new release, “Sirens”. It’s a 29-date tour across the US that started in Las Vegas and picks up the Dirty Heads in FL in July. The tour wraps up in Texas in early August with 311 co-headlining on the final 3 dates.
True to its fashion – Tampa was blazing hot on the eve of Independence Day with the highs hitting 95+. It didn’t stop the fans, or bands, from coming out to have a blast. Sublime with Rome brought an eclectic mix that spans the entire Sublime catalog from day one to current times. From the crowd favorites like “Santeria” to the deeper cuts like “Take It or Leave It” – there was something for the OG Sublime die hards & the newer Sublime with Rome fans.
Rome single handedly carried the set with his interactions with the crowd, guitar solos, and vocal duties. You could tell he’s living the dream – soaking it up. While bass player Eric Wilson stayed back by his bass rig most of the night – he didn’t miss a note & sounded stellar. When they swing through your part of the country – don’t miss it.
